Deki carbon steel flexible wedge gate valve is the most common valve for heavy duty opening and closing functions. They are mainly used for mud and viscous fluid, and are generally not considered for throttling purposes. When it is fully opened, the pressure drop is minimal, and when it is fully closed, it is tightly closed, with relatively no pollution accumulation. The gate valve can be operated by hand wheel, gear operator, electric actuator and pneumatic actuator.

The carbon steel flexible wedge gate valve is made of nodular cast iron, and its weight is about 20%~30% less than that of traditional gate valve. It is easy to install and maintain. The traditional gate valve often has water leakage due to the accumulation of foreign objects such as stones, wood blocks, cement, iron filings and sundries in the bottom groove of the valve after the pipe is washed. However, it adopts the same flat bottom design as the water pipe machine, which is not easy to cause the accumulation of sundries and make the fluid unblocked.
